I’ve selected ten of my favorite products that I think are worth snagging while you can save. Happy Shopping!
November Sephora VIB Sale Picks:
1. Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum
This serum is packed with Vitamin C and other ingredients to firm and brighten skin. I recently tried it along with the B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel (Rise + Glow Duo set, $23) on a trip. Usually by the end of travel, my pores are clogged and my skin looks tired. This time, I actually thought my skin looked refreshed after ten days of travel. I think it was more the C-Firma that made the difference. I do warn you, the smell is strong, but if you can endure it, the payoff of clean, bright skin is worth it. Suitable for all skin types.
2. Nars Orgasm Lipstick
People freaked over the blush. Now the lipstick is a perfect shimmery peachy pink that complements the smoky eye you’ll be wearing to every holiday party.
3. Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate
I don’t have oily eyelids, but if I use too heavy an eye cream in the morning, I find that my eye makeup goes all over my face all day long. But I don’t want to forego it and have puffy eyes all day or use something that has no effect whatsoever. After finishing a sample of Shesheido’s Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate, I decided my eyes looked more moisturized on a daily basis. Plus, the gel does sink in before I apply my eye makeup. Bingo! I recently invested in the full-size bottle!
4. Benefit Cosmetics Soft & Natural Brow Kit
Have you ever looked at yourself in a picture and thought something looked off? Or no matter what, just couldn’t get your eye makeup to look right? Try filling your eyebrows. I think this is the number one most underrated way to draw attention to your eyes. But it’s easy to overdo it and look like a crazy angry person with overly heavy, drawn-on brows, which is also not good. Enter Benefit’s Goof Proof Brow Pencil. It’s a wider, softer pencil with a brush on the other end that’s designed for applying in short dashes along your brows, then blending with the brush for a softer, more natural look that still provides definition. I love it. The pencil alone is $24 and this kit is $34, so for $10 why not also get the High Brow highlight and lift pencil that is the perfect shade for applying under your arches and the mini 24-HR brow-setter that keeps stray hairs in place?
5. L’Occitane 10-Piece Hand Cream Soiree
Do you have people on your holiday gift list who need small gifts? Coworkers, a significant other’s siblings, a big group of friends? L’Occitane lotions are luxurious and perfect for keeping winter skin hydrated. If you buy this kit at $79 and split the lotions apart, $79 – 20% = $63.20 / 10 = $6.30 per lotion (or $79 – 15% = $67.15 / 10 = $6.72 per lotion). Take these and add…
6. Buxom Lips Off Leash Plumping 15-Piece Mini Lip Collection
Anyone who’s tried Buxom’s unique glossy, plumping forumula loves it. And this set is a great deal! $59 – 20% = $47.20 / 15 = $3.15 per gloss (or $59 – 15% = 50.15 / 15 = $4.18 per gloss). Pair one gloss and one lotion, tie it with a pretty bow, and you’ve got a great gift for around $10. Keep the other five glosses for yourself or add them to other gifts throughout the holiday season.
7. Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Supplement
A few months ago I took a makeup class with a Bobbi Brown makeup artist and she raved about this serum. I didn’t buy it at the time, but whatever she said stayed in the back of my head. Fast forward to a few weeks ago—I was out of all the various serum samples I’d been testing, spied this during a special sale at The Cosmetics Company store and decided to grab a bottle. I’ve probably been using it for about two weeks and today I looked in the mirror and realized my skin looks more radiant and well rested. I don’t have many wrinkles, but the few fine lines that are developing on my forehead are looking smaller and dare I say I think my pores are looking smaller? Two weeks in and I’m a converted fan! Now’s the time to give this product a try—you only need to apply three drops (I usually cheat and use a fourth on my neck) so the bottle will last a long time.
8. Stila Written in the Stars Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow Set
Get this set to add a little sparkle to your holiday looks. The cream shadows each have a healthy dose of sparkle and the shades range from subtle to daring.
9. Natasha Denona Chroma Crystal Top Coat from Sephora
This little pot of super fine shimmer powder is made to go over your existing shadow or lipstick. Try the Nude or Peach to add a warm hue to eyes or a bit of metallic pout to your lips.
10. Sephora Favorites Lashstash
I continue to love trying mascaras. This set contains seven mini mascaras, two full size mascaras, and a set of falsh lashes so you can try a bunch and find a new favorite! This also makes a great holiday gift.
