Sometimes you want a comfy T-shirt. But, if you know me, you know I’m not wearing a basic old crew-neck tee. Of late, I’ve been on the quest for T-shirts that are worthy of Marco Style. My criteria is:
- A unique cut that adds a hint of style
- Decent quality fabric
- A comfortable, but not too baggy fit
I have been looking for such tops in every store and at every price range. Nothing fit the bill. Then it occurred to me that I should check out old faithful Amazon.com. And, would you look at that? I added three new tees to my collection, each under $20. I thought I should share them with you since they are tried, true, and Marco Style recommended.

This top is super flattering. The off-the-shoulder styling draws eyes up, while the front knot gathers off to the side at the bottom to help create a flattering silhouette. The fabric is thick and substantial. While it’s a cold shoulder look, the thicker shoulder strap means you just might be able to get away with the right regular bra. Did I mention it only costs $16.99?
As you can see, the top is a bit more fitted on me than on the model. I ordered a size Large, which is my true size. If you want a looser fit, size up. This top comes in 12 different solids and patterns. Sizes run from Small to XX-Large.
This top features eye-catching cutouts along the arm, a simple v-neck and cute ruching on the sides. The ruching hides any tummy rolls, making this a perfect throw-on-and-go top option.
This women’s top costs between $17.99 and $18.99 based on the color you choose. Speaking of which, you can choose from over 30 colors and prints. I went for my typical size Large. It was a tad tight on my hips, but with the ruching it worked. If you want a loose fit, go up a size. The top is available in sizes Small to XX-Large.
This top has a blousy fit and a split v-neck at the top that draws attention upward. The high-low hem design is a bit shorter in the front, but still provides plenty of coverage.
The reviews all said that this shirt runs small, so I ordered an XL (a size up from the other two tops) and found that it provided the looser fit I was looking for. It is also available in sizes Small to XX-Large.
This shirt also only costs $15.99 and is available in 9 different colors. Which of these tops can you see yourself wearing? Share in the comments!
