This is the weekend that we remember and honor those who died while serving our country. And in America, I’m not sure why, that also means lots of retail sales. You’ve got two more days to save, and I’m rounding up my personal picks. But while you’re shopping, celebrating, and spending time with your friends and families, don’t forget to take a moment to think of those who have made sacrifices so we can spend this weekend having fun.

The Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sale continues through June 3 with discounts across categories. This time, I have been loving the discounts in the shoe department. I’ve been on the quest for espadrilles this season and am loving this pair of James Chan Espadrille Mules. The embellishments are like nothing I’ve seen elsewhere.
I’m not sure how long this sale lasts, but it it includes deep discounts on jewelry, handbags, shoes, and apparel. Again, I was attracted to the shoes. In particular, these Scallop Wedge Leather Slides are calling to me. The comfortable wedge plus the unique scallop styling makes the style seem very wearable. And, under $100 for Tory Burch? Yes please.
For a limited time, Henri Bendel is offering 40% off select West 57th handbags. I’ve been looking to change up my handbag selection with something lighter and brighter for summer. This West 57th Half Circle Perforated Tote immediately caught my eye. With the extra 40% off, you’re looking at under $175 for a leather designer purse. This weekend Henri Bendel is also offering an extra 10% off sale items, 25% off full-price sunglasses, and a free beach towel with a $150 purchase.
Taking place only Sunday and Monday, there are some deep discounts on select colors and styles from Gigi New York. I love the Stella Fold-Over Clutch that’s over 50% off in a shade that’s perfect for summer. It also comes with a cross-body strap so you aren’t committed to the clutch.
Molly Virginia Made Memorial Day Sale
Enjoy 20% off everything on this local Richmond designer’s site with code MEMDAY. After much debate, I went for the Limited Edition Serpent Earrings and I’m glad I did because they are now sold out! My second choice was the Flame Drop Earrings, which are still available.
Sofft is offering an extra 30% off already marked down summer styles. I like Sofft shoes because you can find styles that are both stylish and comfortable. For example, these Carita wedges have a modern, gladiator style, look very comfy, and on the current sale would be about $50.
The Sephora Memorial Day Sale features up to 60% off select products. I’m going to try the Kopari Coconut Body Oil Spray. I like dry oil sprays because they tend to be light and deliver lots of moisture quickly without being overly greasy or heavy. Plus, the spray format makes them quick and easy to apply. Why not try this one, with coconut oil, which is good for my skin, while it is on sale?
Dr. Gross Memorial Day Sale
I have been meaning to restock on two of my favorite Dr. Gross products, so 20% off the entire website seemed like the perfect opportunity. The Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel Pads really do make a difference in my skin when I use them daily, even if they are pricey. And, the Alpha Beta Glow Pads are one of my favorite self-tanner picks.
J. Crew is offering 40% off almost everything on the website. I recently snagged these Glitter Cora Criss Cross Sandals and am loving the style for summer. I’m tempted to scoop up the other color on this sale!
