Simple Summer Spritzer

Sip this easy combination of sparkling wine, LaCroix and fresh blackberries all summer long. Some days you want to enjoy a light, delicious cocktail without a ton of effort or calories. Enter the new sparkling water varieties that are popping up everywhere. Yes, some need a little added sweetness for the perfect libation, but some like LaCroix Curate MurePepino, a pleasing combination of blackberry and cucumber, stand alone. One of my preferred ways to drink it is suuuuuper simple. The sparkling wine effectively mellows the perfum-y flavors in the sparkling water and the blackberries add a fresh note to the whole thing. When choosing a sparkling wine, don’t go too sweet. I’d stick with a Cava or Cremant.
